Today, Regional Council for Oil and Gas Affairs has published new verified data on the Kurdistan Region’s oil exports, consumption and revenues, covering the period from 1 October 2018 to 31 December 2018, after a review of the sector by the international “Big 4” audit and consulting firm, Deloitte.

The Council of Ministers affirmed the Security Council Resolution to be an important step towards recognizing ISIS crimes as genocide. The Council of Ministers assigned the High Commission on Recognition of ISIS Crimes as Genocide to coordinate with the international team.

Forty-four years ago today the bombardment of the city of Qaladizah by the former Iraqi government forces resulted in the martyrdom and wounding of dozens of people of Iraqi Kurdistan. The University of Suleimaniya, then located in Qaladizah during the September (Eylul) Revolution, was targeted.
